Philips Recall Update.
Dear customers and friends, Philips is formally starting its recall process. They are asking affected customers to register their machine and details at the following link. Reminder, please empty/remove your water chamber before turning your machine over to view your serial number on the bottom of your machine. Your device serial number will either start with the letter "P" or "J". Pacific Sleep remains available for your enquiries, to provide trade-in options for upgrading equipment and continue to support you in your treatment.

The Therapeutics Goods Administration TGA has issued an official statement, please click on the more information button to see this. Pacific Sleep would like to reassure our patients to be alert and not alarmed. As TGA states "For devices currently in use in critical or lifesaving situations, patients or caregivers should continue using the devices until an alternative becomes available." We are working hard to have loan units available and some trade in options.
Update as at 15th June 2021
Philips Respironics has initiated a recall today 15/06/2021 affecting all their CPAP and BIPAPs. Philips is advising patients to: “Discontinue use of your device and work with your physician to determine the most appropriate options for continued treatment.” At this stage, we are waiting to hear from Philips regarding the next steps.
